Overview: My Employment History
I am a visual artist and arts teacher in Milwaukee, WI.
I have ten years' of experience selling my own artwork in retail stores, online, and in person at art fairs. I have written and update my website, www.steinmanstudios.com.
I graduated from Oberlin College in 1990 with a B.A. in German, was a legal secretary for two years and then moved to Chicago.
In Chicago, I worked my way up within the Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Marketing Department and went from Physician Referral to Database Administrator and Analyst in four years ('92-'96).
In 1996, I launched my professional art career, and took on a part-time position at the Northwestern University
Computer Lab Help Desk. I also became the part-time manager at the NU Schaffner Library in 2000 and was there til '03.
It was at the Computer Lab that I met my husband, and in 2004 we gave up the positions there to move our family to
Milwaukee, WI.
