This Christmas, I painted a pair of street scenes that included this house, which exists (so I could do it plein aire, which meant standing in two feet of snow to capture it); it was a gift from a mother to two sons (there were two paintings) of their old house.I was so touched by this project that I am going to be doing more such paintings. This particular painting was 8x24" and had 3 1/4 houses on it.Each sold for $200.
